Raising the health and wellbeing of our immigrant communities.
RaisingHealth Partners is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing and self-advocacy of local immigrant communities.
We recognize how important health and wellbeing is to a person’s overall quality of life—and how challenging that can be without access to necessary resources. That’s where we come in.
Our community members can receive culturally-competent health, education, and community building services, regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnicity, documentation status, and any other discriminatory factor.

Our Programs
Community Health
We partner with local providers to increase access to free services across medical, oral health, laboratory, counseling, vision and broader social needs—utilizing a culturally-sensitive approach to care.
Community Education
We empower our community members through educational programs—increasing language skills, health, and civic engagement literacy—and encourage them to take action to improve their health and well-being.
Community Building
We know how difficult being in a new country can be, which is why we work hard to assist our community members through providing valuable connections and health and social resources.
About Us
The Academy of Medical & Public Health Services was founded in 2010 in response to the challenges that our founders faced as first-generation children who struggled with personal family losses that reflected the stark realities of the healthcare system facing immigrant families. The goal was to create a safe space that could help immigrants access equitable healthcare, language support, and decision-making power, regardless of immigration status, in a way that these families never had when they were ill.
Renamed RaisingHealth in 2022, we continue to support and sustain the well-being of immigrant communities through culturally-competent health, education, and community-building programs across communities.
